Praha’s appeal to Korean travelers just got a boost. Since April 1, 2025 Prague’s Ruzyně Airport has offered daily direct flights to Seoul. Korean Air leads with its Boeing 787 Dreamliner, while Asiana Airlines now supplements the route with three weekly services on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays—initially for the summer season, with a potential extension to year‐round operations.

At its inaugural flight—landing from Incheon shortly after 3 p.m.—the new Asiana service was celebrated with a ceremonial water gate passage. Travelers on this route will enjoy the state‐of‐the‐art Airbus A350, accommodating up to 311 passengers in business, premium economy, or economy classes.

“By adding Asiana’s flights to Korean Air’s established service, we now offer a full daily connection between the Czech Republic and Korea, opening exciting business and tourism opportunities,” explained Martin Kučera, the airport’s board member for operations and safety. Last year, over 250,000 South Korean passengers visited Prague—a testament to the city’s charm, as confirmed by Korean Ambassador Youngki Hong.

Tip: Whether you’re heading to Seoul or stopping over en route to exotic destinations, take time to explore the enchanting blend of tradition and modernity—from historic temples and lively markets to verdant parks.
