In 2024, Prague Airport recorded an EBITDA of CZK 4.3 billion. This was an increase of CZK 1.2 billion compared to the previous year, signifying improved operational results. Additionally, the company noted a net profit of CZK 2.5 billion for the year 2024.

“We’ve sustained a positive trend in economic activity, leading our company to regain the profitability we experienced before the pandemic. This indicates that we have successfully compensated for the operational disruptions caused by Czech Airlines and the cessation of flights from Russia and Ukraine. As a result, we are now better equipped to gradually finance the modernization of the airport,” stated Jiří POS, Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors. He further commented: “The year 2024 was operationally challenging, yet it turned out to be very successful. We managed to serve nearly 16.4 million passengers, exceeding the forecasts we had set at the start of last year.”

In collaboration with various airlines, Prague Airport introduced 41 new flight routes last year and increased the frequency of flights on 66 existing routes. Consequently, the aviation revenues of Prague Airport reached CZK 6.4 billion, while non-aviation operations generated an additional CZK 3 billion. For instance, the airport renovated 14 restaurants for its tenants, providing new customer experiences through concepts that had not been previously available at the terminal. Moreover, Prague Airport launched new parking services, including a Comfort Valet option, which allows passengers to drop off their cars directly at the airport for a professional driver to park securely.

Last year, Prague Airport continued investing in its modernization efforts, which included reconfiguring specific passenger boarding bridges, renovating the administrative areas within Terminal 1, extending the access road at the intersection of Aviatická and K Letišti streets, and implementing a new parking system throughout the airport. In total, Prague Airport invested CZK 1.6 billion in these projects during the past year.

This year is anticipated to be a record-setting one for Prague Airport, with expectations to handle over 18 million passengers.
