Based on feedback from travelers, Václav Havel Airport Prague is recognized as one of the top airports in Europe for service quality. Following a year-long survey measuring passenger satisfaction, Prague Airport was honored with the 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award.

“We are thrilled to receive this esteemed and objective recognition. It demonstrates that when compared with other European airports, our passengers feel at ease and happy with the services we offer. This award also serves as positive feedback for our team, acknowledging their hard work. Furthermore, we view this recognition as an obligation to uphold an exceptional customer experience in the years to come, even as we carry out planned upgrades to the airport,” stated Jiří Pos, the Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors.

In last year’s ASQ evaluation, Prague Airport was placed among a group of airports serving between 5 to 15 million passengers each year, and it performed superbly against 36 other European airports in this same category. The award, which reflects the entire year, is rooted in travelers’ overall satisfaction with Václav Havel Airport Prague. This satisfaction is one of the key factors assessed in the ASQ survey before passengers depart. Alongside Prague Airport, other airports such as Ankara, Izmir, Thessaloniki, Malta, Milan (Linate), and Seville also received awards in this category. Passengers at Václav Havel Airport Prague particularly praised the cleanliness of the facilities, the minimal waiting times at passport control, and the good value for money regarding transportation to the airport.

The Airport Service Quality assessment is conducted by the Airports Council International (ACI), which is one of the most esteemed global initiatives focusing on measuring customer satisfaction regarding services offered at leading airports around the world. The results are shared quarterly and serve as a meaningful benchmark for airports to enhance their passenger services. Prague Airport has been a part of this program since 2015 and has earned the quality service award four times in the category for airports with 15 to 25 million passengers handled.
