Emirates has announced on Tuesday the addition of another daily line from Prague to Dubai. The introduction of the line has been decided based on an increasing number of passengers on this route since 2010, when the first line was launched.
The new flight will be added on July 1, 2018. According to the company, it will satisfy the increasing demand of both arriving and departing passengers. This daily flight will provide the Boeing 777-300ER with a capacity of 360 seats to boost tourism by a total of 262,800 seats per year.
“There is certainly no better way to celebrate the eight-year anniversary of the Prague-Dubai route before the next flight,” says Bořivoj Trejbal, Emirates Country Manager for the Czech Republic. “Since the start of our first flight on this route, we have been experiencing ever-increasing demand, demonstrating that the Czechs appreciate the travel experience with Emirates, and I am sure that the other options of adding a second flight will be successful on the market,” he adds.
The flight will be divided into three classes – the first class will be eight private cabins. The business class offers 42 adjustable seats. There are 310 spacious spaces in the economy class. Flight EK138 will fly from Prague at 21:35 and will land at Dubai at 5:30 the next day, where passengers will have the opportunity to spend the day in Dubai and take advantage of the rich opportunities offered by the city. Return flight EK137 will fly from Dubai at 15:30 and arrive in Prague at 19:55.
Thanks to the Emirates flight sharing agreements with their Flydubai partner, customers can make use of a stop in Dubai and flights to other destinations such as Zanzibar, Kathmandu, Salalah or Kilimanjaro, which have gained popularity even among Czech travellers.
On all flights with the Emirates, passengers have space for luggage up to 35 kg in economy class, 40 kg in business class and 50 kg in first class.
