Asiana Airlines, based in South Korea, is set to begin flights from Prague to Seoul starting this April. The airline has now opened ticket sales for passengers.

The regular flight operations for this new route will kick off on 1 April 2025. Asiana Airlines plans to run the service three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The airline will utilize the Airbus A350 aircraft, which accommodates up to 311 passengers. This aircraft features 28 seats in Business Class and 283 seats in Economy Class.

With the introduction of Asiana Airlines at Václav Havel Airport Prague, the total number of flights between Prague and Seoul will increase to seven flights each week. “Asiana Airlines arrives in Prague as a prominent global brand. I am delighted that we have significantly increased the number of direct flights on this popular route to Seoul. Passengers will have the chance to connect to numerous destinations throughout the region via the Asiana Airlines network. Additionally, this increase in flights will enhance business relations between the Czech Republic and South Korea and attract more Asian tourists to the Czech Republic,” stated Jiří Pos, the Chairman of the Prague Airport Board of Directors.

Currently, Asiana Airlines serves six destinations in Europe, which include Frankfurt am Main, Paris, London, Rome, Barcelona, and Istanbul. Adding Prague marks the airline’s seventh European destination. “We anticipate that the new route to Prague will serve as a solid foundation for strengthening our network across Central and Eastern Europe. By broadening our range of global destinations, we are committed to maximizing customer satisfaction,” expressed Won YooSeok, the President of Asiana Airlines.
