Current COVID-19 Situation

As of now, Prague Airport (Václav Havel Airport Prague) has no COVID-19 restrictions in place. Since 9th April 2022, all protective measures related to entry into the Czech Republic regarding the COVID-19 pandemic have been completely suspended. Travelers are no longer required to provide COVID-19 test certificates, vaccination certificates, or any special epidemiological documentation upon entering the country. Entry to the Czech Republic has returned to pre-pandemic normalcy, and no special epidemiological conditions apply.

During the peak of the pandemic, Prague Airport facilitated passengers by offering convenient COVID-19 testing directly at the airport, where travelers could obtain necessary certification for travel. These testing points have since been discontinued, reflecting the improved epidemiological situation and relaxation of international travel requirements.

During the COVID-19 pandemic (which is no longer in effect), Prague Airport implemented several protective measures to ensure the safety of its passengers.​

• Mandatory Use of FFP2 Respirators: All travelers were required to wear FFP2 respirators within airport premises.​

• Social Distancing: Passengers were advised to maintain safe distances while waiting in lines and moving through the airport.​

• Enhanced Hygiene Practices: Frequent handwashing with soap and water was encouraged, along with the use of hand sanitizers provided throughout the airport.​

• Respiratory Etiquette: Travelers were instructed to cover their mouths with a tissue or their arm when sneezing or coughing.​

• Avoiding Contact: Passengers were advised to avoid close contact with sick individuals and to refrain from touching their face with unwashed hands.
